Sales – Tiles & Bathrooms

In Preston, we have the UK’s largest tile and bath showroom containing over 20,000 square feet of premium space, displaying one of the most comprehensive collection of tiles in Europe. And together with our Bolton showroom we have well over 1000 classic and contemporary tile displays and over 300-bathroom settings, including world leading exclusive brands.

We are currently recruiting to the Roccia family and looking for passionate and committed individuals to join our dynamic team. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual with strong showroom / sales experience, ideally with bathroom and/or tile knowledge, in our busy flagship superstore in Preston.

Job Type / Category

  • Providing World Class Customer Service to all our clients over the phone and in person at our showrooms
  • Meeting with customers, and preparing project briefs and quotations
  • Conduct surveys at client’s homes where required
  • Supporting in the design of inspiring bathrooms and room-sets with clear specifications and excellent attention to detail
  • Follow up leads, deliver winning presentations and successfully sell a range of products from our Tiles and Accessories department
  • Manage customer projects from initiation to completion, where required
  • Potentially work with fitting teams and project manage installations
  • Place and track orders, deliveries, and address day to day queries
  • Help develop our online presence and increase virtual sales
  • Develop meaningful and ongoing relationships with our customers with excellent after sales service
  • Provide regular blog or social media posts to help further connect with our customers online
  • Be an ambassador of the Roccia brand and our values
  • Be open to working flexibly and adapting to change

Working hours

This is a salaried post with a 42.5 hour ‘Flex’ contract, with 28 days annual leave including Bank holidays. (Please note that as we are a retail outlet, this role will include some weekend work)

Essential:

  • Minimum 2 years of Showroom Sales Experience
  • Strong self-motivation skills
  • Good understanding of online sales
  • Experience of increasing sales and business growth
  • Committed to personal development and adapting quickly to new learning and change
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to understand the customers’ needs, with at least 2 years customer service experience
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
