Bathroom Hacks from the Experts (Part Two)

There are a number of reasons why people adore our range of polished ceramic tiles, but primarily it’s because they’re stunning and allow for convenience in cleaning and maintaining a bathroom. That’s why we feel that bathroom hacks are equally as great; they make your life a little easier and can make everything a little prettier too!

Following on from part one of our bathroom hacks, we thought we’d list a few more ways that you can improve how you use your bathroom. From easy ways to create extra storage, to novel ways to enjoy your evening bath, we have you covered with these hacks!

Use Kitchen Storage

If you find yourself a little short on space but want something a little different and quirky to store your bathroom essentials, have a browse of your kitchen!

You could use spice racks to store bits and bobs, coat hooks or wine racks to store your towels nicely, and mason jars to pop in your cotton balls and buds.

Keep Yourself Entertained

Baths may be a part of your evening ritual if you like to unwind after a long, hard day at work. If this sounds like you, and you enjoy reading as you soak, put your e-reader inside of a clear plastic zip bag to avoid splashes. Be warned that it probably won’t save your beloved handheld library if you drop it though, so be as careful as you usually would!

If you consider yourself more of a shower person and enjoy belting out the top songs of the moment, a dry sink makes a great sound amplifier for your phone! Again, just ensure that it’s completely dry before subjecting your mobile to the wash basin.

Clean Up

The great thing about tiles is the small amount of effort that is required when it comes to cleaning them. However, not all of the nooks and crannies in your washroom are as easy to clean.

If you live in an area that has hard water, rub a fresh lemon over your taps to make wiping away lime scale a lot easier. When it comes to your shower head, fill a sandwich bag with two teaspoons of baking soda and half a cup of vinegar, before securing it to your shower using an elastic band. Briefly turn on the shower to fill the bag with water slightly and then leave it overnight to easily clean away any debris you have on the shower head.
