Gaudi was an artistically gifted Spaniard who gifted Lisbon with a brilliant outdoor park that shows how manmade tiles can elevate outdoor spaces into places of great beauty. Gaudi used a wide array of colour and often organised his mosaics in a manner that replicated the rainbow. The colour, reflectivity, shape and size of the tiles that Gaudi used were carefully chosen to create Park Guell – a Spanish national treasure.
Whilst recreating Park Guell in your own garden might be considered a bold move by your neighbours, it might be easier and more effective to be inspired by Park Guell’s creativity and love for colour.
